  • Yes. There may be some varieties in the Spring Kit that enjoy the milder, and often cooler, weather, and some plants that do well year round. The Summer Kit includes varieties that are happy with the warmer weather.

  • Both. The majority of the plants included are annuals, selected for providing maximum bouquet appeal and visual landscape beauty. There are also a few perennials that will hold on throughout the year and be ready for the next season. There are also some that are ‘Tender Perennials’ - plants that live for more than two years, but are sensitive to cold temperatures, meaning they cannot survive winter outdoors in cooler climates. These plants need special care, such as being brought indoors or protected during the colder months, to thrive year-round. You will have information on how to over-winter these Tender Perennials if there are any in your Kit.

  • Typically 8-10 weeks old, robust, garden ready seedlings. Some are pre-pinched for branching and blooms if needed.

  • Yes. Sometimes, plants will choose not to cooperate and be ready in time. Comparable varieties will be substituted if necessary.

  • No. Due to pre-planned production for each kit, optional varieties are not available for substitution.
